Process
For this Decoration magazine design I wanted to keep the layout bright and clean. By keeping a bright minimalist look the magazine will stand out as most magazines in the home decor section are text heavy with highly saturated photos. The photos have similar colour themes that are predominate with tones of sage and brown. For the logo I used Broadway, a sans serif with strong contrast.
White space was used to make the pictures pop.
For the body text Poppins was used as it is easy to read in small sections like mobile devices
